with 7 years in the security industry, i've seen how most startups don't survive a breach or security incident. 1 in 5 apps built with AI ship with critical vulnerabilities! that's why i built vibeappscanner.com - an external security scanner designed for vibe coded apps. it's easy, affordable and could save your butt

Glad to see the effort is finally paying off. After more than 50 days, flaex .ai has gone from 2 DR to 42 DR - Actively posted my articles via @outrank_so - Created high-quality and useful free tools that are compatible with my platform and designed to help builders and creators (I'll be adding more soon) - Improved canonical URL optimization for better ranking - Fixed my SEO issues, 404 errors, and incorrect indexing - Optimized our tools page presentation (with more in-depth infos + UGC scrapped content) to maximize AI Visibility - And once all this was done, i finalized with @DStartupsubmit It's better to have something solid before submitting platforms, so you get the most of it (and perform better with upvotes)

how do you boost conversion of your free tier? last week i trialed a simple pricing structure: - free quick scans - paid 29$/month deep scans conversion rate: 0.6% 2 possibilities: 1) free tier is too generous 2) 29$ monthly is too expensive with commitment so now i'm trialing a cheaper one time 10$ deep scan. if the conversions are still low, i think my free scan might be too generous

yesterday i had 150+ sign ups from indonesian accounts and couldn't figure out why! turns out someone shared vibeappscanner on threads and it got 10k views :) translates to: "This is what you call a 'programmer' - not just criticizing but collaborating and providing solutions"

@silexdev My point is that at a 1% conversion rate from a sample of 40 is nowhere near any statistical viability. Having 40 in a waitlist is a signal to that "entrepreneur" that he needs to do more out reach work. He needed at 400 people if not a 1000 people on the waitlist.

@iamlukethedev same thing happened to me! 25 waitlist signups and 0 scans run. i'm not sure if it's just waitlists that are the issue or if its build in public. but i will say that most build in public posts are about follower count increases, not actually building a product 😅

Build in public lied to me. When I first shared the idea for ShotSnap, devs loved it. 40 people joined the waitlist. I was pumped. Then I shipped. I emailed every single one of them. Zero replies. So now I’m asking the real question: Were they actually interested or just farming engagement? Is build in public validating ideas or just validating tweets?
