Anguyo and his relatives, including his elderly mother, were detained and transported in a police pickup from Arua City to Kiboga, a long and uncomfortable journey. It's concerning they were treated this way, especially the elderly woman.
It's valid to question why they weren't given more humane treatment, especially if others accused of serious crimes are handled differently.
However the involvement of relatives might suggest Anguyo was in communication with them, possibly indicating they knew something about his activities or hideouts and this is just a reminder think about where you're from. Would you want your hardworking parents or relatives to go through such treatment? Nobody knows what happens in those dark places.
This situation raises questions about the treatment of detainees and the role of local leaders in advocating for their constituents.

Uganda Prisons warder Moses Anguyo, accused of gunning down four people including the Deputy Officer-in-Charge at Kiboga Central Prisonhas been transferred back to Kiboga under tight security following his dramatic arrest in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
