@RayGQue Yea but if you take someone else over him and he goes on to prove he was worthy of the 2nd overall pick, you're still getting fired.

You take Arvell Reese at 2 to just play off ball backer you should be fired. You take him at 2 to convert him to edge you better be right or else you’re fired. Maybe he shouldn’t be mocked number 2 overall #NFLDraft

@espn @PatrickMahomes I love how everything gets hyped this time of year because we want football back already. There's literally nothing special about this at all, it would be highly concerning if he COULDN'T at least do this over three months later lol

Alabama QB Ty Simpson is scheduled to hold a private workout this Friday with the Jets, per @FieldYates. The Jets own picks No. 2 and No. 16 in this year’s first round.

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 And no, it doesn't happen every year lol. It hardly happens at all. Day 3 guys at linemen positions are career spot starters at best most of the time. Like I said, I can make any lineman a starter. Not just any O-Line coach can make any lineman starting caliber lol

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 Yes they could & it happens every year. 😂😂😂 That’s why there’s a such thing as positional value. You also don’t watch the sport enough if you think Justin as good as he is, was an innocent party in the ineptitude of the Chargers offense the last few years. It’s operational

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 There's a difference between being a "starter" and being "Starting caliber." I could make a day three guy into the former. Not just any average OL coach could make a day three guy into the latter.

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 No I’m not. Their only one Scarnecchia. However, any average OL coach can develop a Day 3 IOL into a starter. Also, a good OC can scheme around an average IOL as was just proven w/ Josh McDaniels & Mike McDaniels is a much better OC than Josh So they don’t need to reach for OL

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 Because I like several players including Justin Herbert and don't want Herbert to keep being treated like a choker when I saw him drag that trash of an O-Line to the playoffs lol

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 2/ Yet you are on this app talking about the Chargers needing to invest early draft capital on IOL when NE has proven you absolutely don’t.

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 You don’t know because they don’t currently have 5 starters yet unless they move their LG to Center for Vera-Tucker. McDaniels scheme matters because within his scheme it allows the Patriots who care more than most about draft value to pick IOL on late Day 2 mostly Day 3 1/

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 And this is you very much ASSUMING the chargers OL Coach could replicate the talents and ability of Dante Scarnecchia lol. See how that works?

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 2/ You would also know that a good OL coach can take day 3 IOL & make them good. I had the privilege of getting to know the legendary Dante Scarnecchia over that 20 year dynasty. He made an UDFA college wrestler into a Guard (Stephen Neal) You don’t need early picks on IOL

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 And what does McDaniels' scheme have to do with me being able to "pick either SB teams IOL men out of a lineup?" How good they are is irrelevant, point is I know who they are, meaning you would, very quickly in fact, lost that bet lol

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 😂😂😂 Oh no I wouldn’t. Pats traded their starting center for a measly 5th RD pick. They over drafted a Guard who they will be moving to Tackle real soon. If you are a Pats for then you would know how Josh McDaniels scheme assist an average line which the Pats have now.

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 I couldn't care less what they're "interested" in doing, i'm telling you what the world saw they NEED to do. And considering I'm a Pats fan you'd very quickly lose that bet lol

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 Well you’re very much ASSUMING they are even interested in drafting a Guard in Round 1. I don’t think it’s a Top priority to them right now over much more vital positions conducive to contending. I bet you couldn’t pick either SB teams IOL men out of a lineup if you tried.

@Reed22LarryA @alexinsdorf99 I don't think the chargers would be keeping some grand secret about drafting OL, the entire league and world saw last season they NEED to do so.

@silver55361 @alexinsdorf99 It doesn’t mean necessarily it’s players they have ranked in their Top-30. It’s just every team is limited to 30- in person post combine visits. No team is stupid enough to show their hand at this stage.

@silver55361 @Savageboston ? Based on 2025 season data, the Patriots offense significantly improved, averaging 379.4 total yards per game (ranked 3rd) and 28.8 points per game (ranked 2nd). Are you for real?

Ultimately it’s a good move for Denver. They get significantly better at WR for a fairly steep price. All eyes on the Patriots and what they’re willing to pay for AJ Brown.

Did Malik Willis know this was happening? This is arguably the worst roster in the NFL now, and he has one year to prevent a 2027 1st Round QB from ending his stint. He's throwing to Malik Washington, TuTu Atwell, and Josh Norris this year!

Looking at Kenneth Gainwell as a Bucs signing -- Zac Robinson had Bijan Robinson 2nd in NFL among RBs with 79 catches last year, so makes sense he'd want a solid pass-catching back. Gainwell had 73 for Pittsburgh in a shared role. Only McCaffrey, Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs had more.

@bucsfan_95 @mikey1088mike @gregauman Bijan also ran for damn near 1,500 yards, on top of 800+ receiving yards. Gainwell caught 43 more passes than Bucky playing every game for BARELY 200 more yards. Gainwell is NOT a threat to Bucky

The #Bucs are signing former #Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell to a 2-year, $14M contract, per @Schultz_Report. Gainwell had over 1,000 yards last season in Pittsbrugh.
