A man who broke into a Kentucky family's home and fatally stabbed 6-year-old Logan Tipton as he slept has been released from prison for the SECOND time. Ronald Exantus, 42, entered the family's Versailles home in 2015 and stabbed Logan in the head before attacking the boy's father and two sisters, who survived. Exantus was found not guilty by reason of insanity on the murder charge due to schizophrenia, but was sentenced to prison for the assaults on Logan's family. He was first released in October 2025 under Kentucky's mandatory reentry supervision laws, despite objections from Logan's family and the parole board. Just 12 days later, he was arrested in Florida for failing to register as a convicted felon and returned to custody. Now, after his sentence expired, Exantus has been released again. He is reportedly not required to enter a psychiatric hospital and is once again a free man. Logan was SIX YEARS OLD and asleep in his own bed when a complete stranger entered his home and killed him. I cannot imagine what his family is feeling right now.
