Finally feeling better mentally and then I end up getting sick. Like I have games to play and things to write. but sleep is all that's basically been happening. omg it's been days I need this to stop.

@silverjoys i was so unprepared for the situation and couldn't *do* anything because she and her crew were taking up the entire section of the aisle that i needed to be working, that i just went to the bathroom for two minutes to avoid having a total conniption fit

Still having the worst case of --essentially imposter syndrome (if that's what you call this sinking dread feeling that my writing will get me nowhere feeling) So don't expect me fully back. But I'm at least lurking today.

Raina Nightingale - Return of the Dragonriders
When someone asks how you keep track of your world-building... And almost everything you do looks like a disorganized mess to anyone else, yet you can pants consistent, layered worlds & keep it all in your head. Somehow.

Being a writer means constantly searching "shades of [insert colour]" so you can avoid using "blue as the ocean", "firey red" or "white as snow" all the time.

Once again, in my attempt to fit a vss in the Twitter character limit, as I reworded a sentence, I cut out a whole entire word that is very important. Oh well. I guess I'll just say you can't see the 'see' 👀

Honeydew tapped her #philtrum, looking in the inn's basement mirror. Her lips appeared healed, but sometimes those awful memories came back. "Are you sure no one can any holes?" she asked. "It's healed," Cookie said. "My ointment restored the skin where you'd been sewn." #vss365
