PROFESSIONAL NEWS: Today is my last day at Bloomberg. After almost 12 years with the company, saying goodbye to my friends and colleagues is a huge challenge. So much of my identity had been tied to the television set, and connected to the stories I’ve written and the sources I’ve maintained throughout the way.

Sometimes, though, when the future calls — you have to listen.

I am excited to share my next steps in very, very short order. I’ll be stepping out of the world of news, and deeper into the universe of finance. Stay tuned. The future is huge, and I’m excited to navigate it with you.

What does Trump mean by “the war machine?” He means Americans who believe we should help brave Ukrainians defend their country against Putin’s brutal aggression. Nikki is I imagine proud to be part of that pro-freedom effort, as Trump is pleased to be part of the pro-Putin camp.
Trump War Room@TrumpWarRoom

President Trump: "Nikki may have started her career in South Carolina, but she is now 100% the candidate of Wall Street and the war machine."

Excellent play
Han Zhang@hannzhangg

For @NewYorker, I wrote about the cultural vertigo of Salesman之死, Arthur Miller’s gamble to direct the play for a Beijing audience in 1983, and how the unimaginable — a true cultural fusion, and art that makes nationality evaporate — is made a reality. newyorker.com/culture/cultur…

@SRoach_econ Gallagher and his squad simply do not understand the importance of China-US relations. Their doltish behavior and ignorant pronouncements will push us closer to real confrontation. The reality is we need China, and they need us.
