I once watched an episode of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” where Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar chose to renew their marriage vows. I remember rolling my eyes so hard at the “modesty collar” Michelle brought to her dress shopping appointment to make sure not an inch of neck was visible as she tried on dresses. I’m freshly struck by the inanity of the whole performative modesty of the entire affair given what we now know was happening behind the scenes in this home. @PoehlersPawnee I love a stage door, but never assume I will meet anyone. If someone wants to come out then great, if they don't then thats that, a friendly thanks to the security and I'm off. Too many people using it as a meet and greet when they didnt even see the show lately 😮.

just a friendly reminder that a stage door experience is not part of your ticket. You paid to see a play/show at the theatre, not to meet an actor. It’s amazing if the actors do stage door, but you should not expect/demand that of them ☺️

@cremebrulecki My last American con was like 15 years ago, and I think a duo photo was about 200. That was my limit and had no intention of doing any others with the amount of money they cost. This sort of money is actually insane

@INA_TheatreSnob Honestly, missing Kenrex was a huge mistake, Jack was sensational. Love the double Zachary nominations, the guy steals every damn show Ive seen him in, and ive seen him in 4 things 🤣.

So...there were lots of surprises with this year's Olivier nominations, so here's a couple I've processed: - I really regret missing Kenrex... - Didn't expect a repeat of last year with an actor against themselves! - Mark Addy's snub is my biggest upset

Loved Cranston, but Holden NEEDS to win this! Him in Kenrex was mesmerising.

@simbanrat Considering a payment was part of the deal BEFORE the sex - I don't know why they did it that way. It completely lessens the coercion because we can assume he justified it by saying well at least I'm getting my money too. I'm so confused at this terrible plot

As much as sexual coercion is legally rape it's clear to me EastEnders were determined to play it down as less than sexual assault so they didn't have to put any effort into the story but still attempt to make it "not Johnny's fault" so he could be blameless & move in with Callum

So which was it? Did he want the money or did he want to protect Callum? It doesn't work as a sexual coercion story if he's getting a chunk of cash for free as well. I know I'm fixated on this I just can't understand the writing choices here. Did he just sell his body?
