Clickbait. Everybody got their autograph and selfie, the passage to the hotel was kept free for guests, and I still got to the airport on time. One man, no security. Handled. What’s your problem ?

Nice to hear that 'fans' of a performer boo them when they don't stop at the stage door. For the billionth time, performers don't owe you their time and if they choose to walk away, respect their boundaries.

Oh boy... Primarily solo theatregoer here and this marketing is not it. Don't think there was any malice, but it's stuff like this that adds stigma to solo theatregoing.

So. Disney brings Back Malcom in the Middle, which ended decades ago with a proper send off. They made Stevie gay, despite him crushing on Malcolm’s babysitter, pretending to be in critical condition to get another girl to like him, there’s stacking amounts of evidence proving he likes girls. And the child Hal and Lois had at the very end is, wait for it……..non binary. If you had even a shred of hope that you were going to “relive the glory days” you were kidding yourself. Disney owing this, backed up with the negative reviews should have been the dead giveaway. Don’t waste your time, it’s modern Disney being modern Disney again, and again, and again!

@millerstopp Yes! Ive had stickers for A Little Life, Slave Play and Cabaret. Stickers remained in place and I never considered taking them off. I love shows which announce that you're free to take pics and videos at the end and to please tag them. 👌

@simbanrat i’ve had a sticker for a play that was in previews before, and a pre-show announcement for no photos during curtain call bc of parental consent since the cast were mostly children. both made perfect sense. without communication (and especially w/ encouragement) it’s fair game imo

absolutely love her to pieces but this is not it! during a performance i have never and will never talk, sing, take my phone out… christ i get angry at myself if i even sneeze. but at curtain call? yeah, unless i’m specifically instructed not to? i’m gathering my memories 🤷🏻‍♀️

@INA_TheatreSnob I booked a London date ro avoid Joahnnes because I didn't rate him when I saw him on tour. Much preferred Tosh and had the added bonus of seeing Liam as Charlie as Matt wasnt on. I'd have liked to have seen Matt but was more than happy with Liam

For context, I saw Newtion Matthews' fabulous Lola in the Oxford leg of the tour, hence my comment on Johannes' dancing. My verdict? Both amazing Lolas in their own ways.

I once watched an episode of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” where Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar chose to renew their marriage vows. I remember rolling my eyes so hard at the “modesty collar” Michelle brought to her dress shopping appointment to make sure not an inch of neck was visible as she tried on dresses. I’m freshly struck by the inanity of the whole performative modesty of the entire affair given what we now know was happening behind the scenes in this home. @PoehlersPawnee I love a stage door, but never assume I will meet anyone. If someone wants to come out then great, if they don't then thats that, a friendly thanks to the security and I'm off. Too many people using it as a meet and greet when they didnt even see the show lately 😮.

just a friendly reminder that a stage door experience is not part of your ticket. You paid to see a play/show at the theatre, not to meet an actor. It’s amazing if the actors do stage door, but you should not expect/demand that of them ☺️

@cremebrulecki My last American con was like 15 years ago, and I think a duo photo was about 200. That was my limit and had no intention of doing any others with the amount of money they cost. This sort of money is actually insane

actually no let’s keep talking about this. this doesn’t include your admission ticket, your hotel and travel expenses. this is price gouging. and let’s talk about the fact that these are non-refundable, so when guests cancel, you’re just out of the $$$. this is absurd
