my stat of the day #ReadingFC went 46 mins today without having a shot (32-78) so long that it's enough to contain all of Darth Vader's screen time from the original Star Wars trilogy (44mins 19 secs)

@CScott____ @TheTilehurstEnd thanks very much! didn't really want to go into it in that piece (one for another time), but those last two sentences chime with my worry about Richardson long term. yes he needs a pre-season, but the fans/players connection and the effort should have been instilled already

@TheTilehurstEnd @SimFromBucks Very well written, the apathy across the fanbase as a whole seems obvious to me. Outside of matchdays, even X is very quiet to a large extent. As you say, on paper they're in a playoff push but no one seems arsed? The connection between fans, manager & players is miles off too.
