For the first time since being diagnosed with this bastard disease I’m in pain from it. And it’s scary tbh.
We’re starting weekly chemo next week. And hopefully immunotherapy shortly after. That’s the big hope. Not for a cure. But maybe control.

@greggislocallfc Shout. In my town there’s 1 established team and one new up and coming team where the owner has great ambitions of making the Prem one day. Im attending with my son, in the hope one day I can say “ I was there from day one”

Basically the main point is, if you live in a city or town that has even maybe an EFL level club that doesn’t sell out weekly, why not go watch them with people from the same place you’re from instead of a team on tv every week.
End of the day, everyone has “their” team and that’s fine

After attending a non league game today, I can quite comfortably say, if you support a “big” or “prem team” from far away and don’t frequently go to games, just go and follow your local team, no matter what level of the pyramid they are in.

What I will say, is if you care enough, surely if you were to live close enough to a club and could actively go follow them every week home and away you’d enjoy football more than going the odd game here and there and watching the majority of games on the tv just for the sake of “supporting a big club”
