Went to the cinema with my wife yesterday lunchtime to see The Magic Faraway Tree @simonfarnaby my mum rang me just as we were leaving, told her how wonderful it was and she wants wants me to take her to see it too!

@simonfarnaby absolutely loved seeing The Magic Faraway Tree today, thank you for bringing the story so gently up to date while still being true to the original, many happy childhood hours spent reading the books - lovely to revisit the characters as a grown up!

The smile on my face, as Fran climbed up the ladder to the Land of Goodies and I was transported back to being a child and reading the book, was massive. What a lovely film #TheMagicFarawayTree is. Well done @simonfarnaby

@simonfarnaby Simon, just thought I'd let you know that we thought it was fantastic when we went to the cinema yesterday. We couldn't get in the first screening we tried as there were only single seats available, and then the screen was packed for the showing we could get tickets for!
