Had his mum owned a bank and Polanski wanted to relax banking taxes or rules that should be revealed. Same with sex. Murdoch has told his people that he doesn’t mind funding a loss-making Sun as long as it doesn’t cause him a problem. The whole point of journalism is to reveal uncomfortable truths. Murdoch should do his bottom line, and the dwindling number of online and print readers a favour and flog The Sun while it has a value.
