Mackey warned the audience that the results of the British Social Attitudes survey and the declining confidence of the public is a serious risk and if the NHS becomes more disconnected from the public it would be a major problem for the health service #NHSconfedexpo

I asked @DHSCgovuk where the impact assessment for abolishing @NHSEngland was. Recommendation 286 of Francis inquiry said any future reorganisation should have an IA made public as part of announcement. DH accepted. No impact assessment of the change has been done.
