The whole point of the ending was that they get to be who they really are when not held down by heaven/hell. Crowley being a nerd into space, smiling, & being openly loving & affectionate is exactly right. Those are all the parts of him hell made him try to hide. #go3spoilers

i feel like the ending was good because the whole point of aziraphale and crowley was that they lived "on their own side" they didn't belong to heaven or hell and they got exactly that: their own side, a universe without heaven or hell
