SHOCKING: Someone just built Cursor for ads. It's called Synter and it's an AI agent that runs your entire paid media operation across 14 platforms Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, X, Microsoft through natural language. No dashboards. No spreadsheets. No agency retainer. Here's how it works ↓

🚨BREAKING: Someone built a text-to-speech model that runs entirely on your device and it is shockingly fast. It’s called Supertonic. No cloud. No API key. No per-character pricing. Just download it and run it locally. And the benchmark numbers are what make this release interesting: → 167x faster than real-time on an M4 Pro → Only 66M parameters → ~1,263 chars/sec generation speed → Faster than several major cloud TTS APIs in raw throughput tests → Runs on Raspberry Pi-class hardware and low-power devices But speed is only part of the story. The model also handles things that many larger commercial systems still struggle with: → currency formatting → dates → phone numbers → technical units without requiring preprocessing pipelines or prompt tricks. It supports multiple languages and platforms, and even includes a browser extension that can turn webpages into audio almost instantly. What makes this release important is the shift it represents. For years, high-quality speech synthesis depended on cloud APIs because local models were either too slow, too large, or noticeably worse. Supertonic changes that equation. A lightweight open-source model is now competitive enough that many users may no longer need cloud TTS services at all. And once speech generation works reliably offline, the economics start changing very quickly. No subscriptions. No usage billing. No latency from remote inference. Just local speech generation running directly on your hardware. MIT licensed. Fully open-source.

Audible is cooked after this. A developer built an open-source tool that turns any EPUB into a full audiobook on your own laptop. It's called Audiblez. You drop in an ebook. It generates a proper .m4b audiobook. You listen in VLC, Apple Books, or any audiobook player. No subscription. No credits. No locked library. No waiting for the publisher to release an audio version. What you usually pay for: Audible → monthly subscription Speechify → $139/year ElevenLabs → usage-based pricing Professional narration → hundreds or thousands per book Audiblez → pip install, run one command, done. The wild part is how it works. It uses Kokoro-82M, a tiny text-to-speech model with only 82M parameters that still sounds shockingly natural. On a Google Colab T4 GPU, it can turn Animal Farm into an audiobook in about 5 minutes. On an M2 MacBook Pro CPU, it takes about 1 hour. And the new version even has: - A graphical interface - CUDA support - Multiple languages - Voice selection - EPUB to audiobook conversion - Local generation - No cloud dependency Most audiobook tools are built around renting access. Audiblez is built around owning the pipeline. Your ebook goes in. Your audiobook comes out. Your machine does the work. Open-source. Private. Free. This is what personal media should feel like.

Phew, Grok Build is really thorough, pretty incredible. Relay feature for PasteLocal is done, pushing to Github now. And if you want to know what this adds, here's a bit more about it, this is a feature I really wanted in there, and honestly didn't really expect to have done this week. • Per-peer E2E encryption: clipboard data is encrypted individually for each paired device using X25519 + HKDF + AES-GCM (no plaintext ever leaves the client) • Durable persistence: relay state is now stored in an atomic state.json with proper TTL handling and compaction. Pending clips survive relay-server restarts • Safe compaction: fixed unsafe map mutation during expiration/compaction that could cause data loss or undefined behavior • Full bidirectional CLI: new commands: pastelocal relay send, inbox, fetch, and status, plus pastelocal-remote --relay --peer --send • Auto-sync: when watch.enabled + relay.auto_upload are on, meaningful clipboard changes are automatically pushed to paired devices • Improved DX: doctor checks are now only shown when relay is enabled, and the TUI shows basic relay status • Multiple review cycles: went through full implement → review → fix → re-review (effort 4), plus a final targeted regression fix round Try it out and please send any and all feedback!

Introducing Composer 2.5, our most powerful model yet. It's more intelligent, better at sustained work on long-running tasks, and more reliable at following complex instructions. For the next week, we’re doubling the included usage of the model.
