@johnarbuckleamv My point was just that mobility aids like walkers are mostly not used regularly for chronic pain.

When I had endometriosis so bad I was very suicidal, it was on my sciatic nerve and it was unbearable. I would walk with a limp on bad days and I couldn't stand for very long. When I cooked for meals I would chop my vegetables sitting on the ground.

@PranayK62861295 This is just because you’re in intro bio. They wayyy oversimplify that stuff. The science is much more nuanced and less binary than that - we learn in med school about sex and gender being completely separate categories and also learn them as a spectrum, rather than binary.

grad school Halloween parties really were a mixed bag because on one hand nobody would just to party city and picks up a no-effort costume-in-a-bag but on the other hand you have to tolerate costumes like “reification” and “the specter hanging Europe” (etc.)
