Booked a 5km ride. Ola showed 64, Rapido 58 but no driver accepted. Kept increasing the fare: 70, 80, 85, 90… still nothing. At 100, suddenly a driver appeared. Looks like apps and drivers already know the “real” fare and just bait users with fake low prices. If rides aren’t available at shown fares, stop advertising them. This isn’t convenience, it’s manipulation.

My grandmother passed away a couple of months back. Now that we have finally come to terms with her death, we went to get her death certificate, only to be told we need an affidavit from my father confirming that yes, his own mother is dead, plus affidavits from 2 neighbours saying the same, along with everyone’s IDs. This is when we already have a receipt from the cremation ground!!!! Should families also preserve cremation photos now as evidence? How and what other proof can we provide for this beyond this receipt??!!! This level of scrutiny for a death certificate is insane. The exploitation and harassment of ordinary people in this country is exhausting. Wish this energy and scrutiny was reserved for criminals, rapists, and corrupt politicians instead.

It doesn't have a footover bridge connecting platform no 3 to the other side of railway station where this incident occurred. Railway is responsible for flawed design and has put people lives at risk. @nerailwaygkp

Shocking: In Bihar’s Shahpur Patori station, a mother sheltered her 2 kids + 2 women in the narrow “Malhara” gap between platform & tracks as a train passed inches overhead. They crossed tracks instead of using the footbridge. Mother injured, but all 5 survived. Mother’s instinct saved them! 🙏
