‘GINAWA NIYA ‘YUNG SAKRIPISYO’ House Deputy Speaker Jay Khonghun told the media on Wednesday that House Speaker Martin Romualdez has been contemplating stepping down from his post for a while. “At talagang mahal din niya ‘yung Congress, mahal din niya ‘yung administrasyon, lalong-lalo na ‘yung administration of President BBM. Kaya ginawa niya ‘yung sakripisyo na at least to step down,” he said. Deputy Speaker Ronnie Puno also confirmed that Romualdez is resigning today, September 17, 2025.
