I wish I knew the motivation. Are they trying to scrape as much of my data as they can? Are they trying to cost me money? Or take Squeno down? My best theory is that it's just a solo "hacker" alleviating their boredom.

What convinced me this was malicious? The requests were being sent with a variety of user agent strings, spoofing different OSs and browsers to try and look like they came from different users - but all from the same IP, to the same endpoint.

For the past few days, my app Squeno has been subject to its first cyber attack. A Chinanet IP address has been hammering one of my API endpoints with millions of requests. My question is why? Why bother attacking a little guy like me?

AI has always been surprisingly good at rust programming. Perhaps because there isn't much bad rust code in existence.
