On 20 March 1996, baby Theo Plumb died at 17 and a half hours old from group B Strep infection. Six months later, Jane and Robert founded the charity Group B Strep Support, so that other families could be informed about group B Strep and spared avoidable heartbreak #GBSAW ❤️

The link between illiteracy and our judicial system is clear to see. Investment in education and instruction in classroom based on evidence is of paramount impt not just for the child (as if that’s not enough of a reason) but for society

If we are serious about early intervention in schools to stop criminality later on, we really need to focus on literacy and numeracy! - 71% of prisoners have lower literacy skills than the average 11 year old. - About 1 in 5 prisoners are at or below the level of a 5-7 year old.
