@SF_England Yes, my previous college for last year where I completed my full year is shown as Application Status: Withdrawn. My current college for this year is shown as Application Status: Application Approved.

@sirajma Sorry about this, but I think we can still help. At the moment, is your previous application showing as withdrawn? It's just, that's normally why we ask you to apply again. Thanks, Graeme

1/2 Hi @SF_England — I withdrew from my previous course and was told I’d been overpaid. This turned out to be due to a mismatch in my Change of Circumstance Letter, which my old uni has now corrected and re-sent

@SF_England Yes, my current SFE account says the 'Application Status' is approved for this year. But today I got another email from SFE asking me to send a fresh application.

@sirajma Sorry this isn't showing up, the chatbox should pop up as soon as you login, normally. You can try using a different internet browser, or it may be best to call us on 0300 100 0607. We can also try to help here. So, you mentioned an overpayment from a previous academic year, 1/2

@sirajma your online account, select 'undergraduate' and then ‘contact us’. From here you will be able to use our live chat service when it is available. Our opening hours are stated on our ‘contact us’ page and an advisor can assist you. Stephen. 2/2

2/2 During this process my account was suspended. Who should I contact to get the latest status, and can you confirm this won’t delay or block payments for my new course starting this October?

@SF_England Gov.uk website seems to suggest that reapplying students deadline is June 20th and New students was 16th May? Is that correct? If I start a new course this year, do I fall into the reapplication group or new group? Apologies for too many questions

@sirajma Yes, that's right - when you re-apply you can indicate your new course details then. The deadline to make any changes is 9 months after the start of your new course begins, so you have plenty of time. Thanks, Graeme

@SF_England To change courses after first year, should I reapply for the loan first and then request university for the electronic change of circumstances, or vice versa?

@SF_England But, would applying in that 9 month period mean that my course fees for the first year in the new course is not ready in time? I am still undecided whether to change course/college or not, and am worried that I will miss the sfe deadlines.

@SF_England Thank you @SF_England .. I'm due to complete my first year at College A in Aug 2025. If I chose to start a new course at College B from Sep 2025, can I make this change in the reapplication? Also, what are the deadlines for this application change?

@sirajma Hi Siraj, you can just input the correct course details when you reapply. You would only require an electronic Change of Circumstances if you withdrew or suspended part way through this course year. Thanks, Clare

Mauve is every fashionista’s secret love. Hidden between violet and pink on the color wheel, this delicate, bluish purple color has a great story. A story of Colonial India, deadly mosquitoes and serendipity. A thread (1/12)
