It wasn’t that long ago that Elon Musk was calling the large-scale release of carbon dioxide into the Earth’s atmosphere the “dumbest experiment in history” and pleading with world leaders at the UN climate change conference in Paris to implement a carbon tax to curb emissions.
That Elon Musk is long gone.
Musk’s xAI is now operating 62 unpermitted methane gas turbines across two data centers in Memphis, Tennessee, and Southaven, Mississippi. According to xAI’s own permit application, the facilities could emit more than 6 million tons of greenhouse gases and over 1,300 tons of health-harming air pollutants every year.
All in the name of AI slop.

So curious that such a wealthy man never posts anything that indicates that he enjoys or is even aware of what virtually everyone appreciates— scenes from nature, pet dog or cat, praise for a movie, music, a book (but doubt that he reads); pride in a friend’s or relative’s accomplishment; condolences for someone who has died; pleasure in sports, acclaim for a favorite team; references to history. In fact he seems totally uneducated , uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter may have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the “most wealthy person in the world.”

There's a clear reason Homeland and the entire admin are just showing you the gun rather than the half dozen videos that clearly show what happened. The legally-carried gun was taken from the victim while 5 ICE agents were beating him, and before they executed him, their lives were clearly not in danger.

At 9:05 AM CT, as DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, seen here. The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. More details on the armed struggle are forthcoming. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect also had 2 magazines and no ID—this looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement. About 200 rioters arrived at the scene and began to obstruct and assault law enforcement on the scene, crowd control measures were deployed for the safety of the public and law enforcement. This situation is evolving, and more information is forthcoming.

@FredLambert Of course, I‘ve been saying this for years as well. ACC was a super luxury 25 years ago, today it‘s a commodity (and has been for a while). Shortly after the first system will get level 4, ‚everybody‘ will have it.

I think it's going to be a slow realization for $TSLA shareholders and the market, but as I have been saying for years, FSD is going to get commoditized.
Tesla already went from charging $15,000 to $8,000 for it and it will keep going down, especially as it becomes clear that Tesla will not make it unsupervised as promised in consumer vehicles.
Honestly, for Tesla (not for existing customers), the best thing would be to slash prices already before competition comes in lower.
