The most troubling ticket in Nigeria’s political history is the one between PO and RMK. These two individuals appear driven by strong religious leanings, one perceived as pushing Christian dominance, the other as leaning toward Muslim dominance. That makes the ticket deeply concerning and not something that should be encouraged. As for BAT, I would rather he completes his remaining four years, so that the North can present a more credible and balanced ticket in 2031, not this kind of arrangement, which feels risky. We should start educating people about the implications of this.

More popular? That depends on the region cos Amaechi is more popular in the north while Obi is more popular in the south but when it comes to competence? Obi honestly doesn't come close to Amaechi and that's a verifiable fact.

If Peter Obi were from the South-South or the North-East, I honestly wouldn’t have a problem with him running however he wishes. But as it stands, he appears to be shaping the political direction of a region that has not held the presidency for over 50 years. If care is not taken, he could end up becoming the biggest obstacle to an Igbo presidency in this Fourth Republic.

I’m not carried away by Kwankwaso. People not aware of history are carried away with the VP talk. This was in 2019 where Kwankwaso campaigned for Atiku/PO in Kano. The crowd was the most anyone had ever seen. But look at the result below from Kano in that same election against the Incumbent Buhari. The underlying issue is INEC. Nigerians are not addressing that issue. History must not repeat itself. The INEC conundrum is the elephant in the room and the elephant is becoming a bit too comfortable in the room.

Tinubu, just like Buhari, has exposed the level of tribalism in Nigeria. Take a look at those insulting themselves (not me) in the comments section of my posts on X. How come that 95% of these miscreants are from a particular region? You can look at it if you think I am overstating the fact. This country is sick and we shouldn’t shy away from acknowledging it. Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is from the Niger Delta region where I come from. But I was an outspoken critic of his government till he left office. I took part in protests against his government. This fact is verifiable. There’s no bad government that I have ever supported, both at the State and Federal level. Today, those who identify themselves as Ronu are behaving as if goods and basic services are more affordable in their own communities than the rest of the country. Tinubu will leave power, but the damage is long lasting. May God help this country!

Today during the Tafsir, @ProfIsaPantami emphasized the need to establish a media station of national and international standard in the North, one that broadcasts in English, French and other global languages to change the negative narrative and stereotypes and to tell the true story of the region. He noted that building such strategic institutions is, in some cases, even more important than constructing places of worship in areas where they are already sufficient. What Prof. Pantami said is absolutely true and reflects a widely shared understanding and agreement. However, the real challenge is that we are simply not ready and realistically, it may take decades before we attain that level of preparedness. The only possible way this vision may materialize sooner is if an individual or organization from somewhere steps forward to generously bring it to the North, because despite recognizing the need, we are yet to demonstrate the collective readiness and commitment required to make it a reality ourselves.

I wonder why you have historical names and you can’t even see if you can do small thing your name sake did Like how did your parents name you David, and you never tried to see if you’re gifted with a catapult. Try throw a stone at your landlord one day, if he falls down like Goliath fine, if he doesn’t at least you know your parents named you wrongly. It’s a win win situation Or how will they name you Solomon and you have just 1 babe, like it doesn’t even make sense You can’t even test if you have the gift of cheating, where is your wisdom? What about Samson, they named you Samson and you don’t like gym, when you’re supposed to be the strongest man. Some Samsons even get barber As in whyyy? Why do you have a barber? No lesson from history. We don’t experiment our names, what if you’re that gifted, what if the powers are given with the names? How is your name Joseph, and you have never tried to see if you can escape OS? Let one politician’s wife toast you, and then try to escape her, and then the husband will try to catch and you will flee to Togo. Like don’t you like adventure 🤦🏼‍♀️? Your name is Jonah but you hate going to the beach, like how? You are afraid to test if you can be swallowed by a whale. One of the most loyal women was Ruth but all the Ruth’s today are cheating on their boyfriend 😭. This generation is too useless Only that Ebo Noah guy from Ghana has made me proud 😭.

I visited my farm yesterday and saw that most of my neighbors had abandoned theirs. Nigeria is tough right now; the government has been crashing local produce prices by subsidizing imported food instead of cutting input costs for us farmers. It's a scam – how does that boost our economy knowing fully well that more than 70 percent of our population rely on agriculture? I lost over five million naira last year. But listen, don't drop your hoe yet. Every farmer goes through this rough patch. What matters is that you stand back up, plant again, ask for help if you need to, and build your strength. One day, the sun will shine your way – maybe next season, maybe later. Just keep walking. A friend Gili Wesley Fwa, posted on his Facebook page

Let me tell you something you may not know. If the Presidency of Nigeria is ZONED to the South-East and CEDED to Anambra State alone, I can bet everything I have on earth that Obi won't be amongst the first 50 candidates for consideration by the Ibos. He will never come near. They will drive him away. Let that sink
