The Turkana Trade Sector Working Group members held their quarterly meeting on 25th September 2025 at Cradle Hotel, Lodwar. The forum continues to provide a vital platform for collaboration, networking, and coordination among partners, strengthening enterprise development and fostering economic growth in Turkana County and the wider region. We extend our gratitude to the @MercyNawiri Program for supporting this important initiative.The next quarterly meeting is scheduled for December 2025.

Uganda is set to build a new international airport at the Kidepo National Park in the northeast border with Kenya, just 70 kms away from Lokichoggio airport, including an ambitious plan to tarmack all roads in Karamoja region.
