@thatguybg I bought a bag recently (Wexley Taylor) and love it. Some other companies I looked at thoroughly (and would buy from): - Aer - Alpaka - Matador - Pakt - Rework

This summer I'm moving on from Apple Watch and buying a €500 "starter" watch and a Fitbit Air. I've got a decent shopping list of "proper" watches for future Dan, but starting my collection now, probably with one of these. What was the first watch in your collection?

@dr Got this for daily wear and it's actually great, withstands rain and accidental dips in water without a hitch. Worth having around if you're prone to getting wet. amzn.to/4uoFRVu

@AlinCatalin I think maybe I don't believe fully in what I'm building. If you have conviction, surely you just keep going? Or is it the market telling you it sucks. Hard to know!

@dr Been doing the same and it's telling me pretty much the same thing....which tbh I guess I knew I get excited with an idea but motivation drops to all time lows when I don't get the traction/feedback I expected

I've been talking with Claude a lot about past products, jobs, potential new ideas, current products with no traction etc. It summed me up in one line 😅 "You're not a grinder. You're a spark-chaser." If it doesn't kick off immediately (ilo, Subsail) I get bored and move on

@philipbrown Holiday is normally June and July. But this year they go back mid August… not sure why! The school year actually is pretty logical: two terms 5 months each, both sides of Christmas. I actually like it better than the UK system

Recently opened up a couple of magazine web projects from 2012 and 2016. Both Django apps, both totally untouched by AI. Kind of surreal thinking about how I wrote every single line of those products character by character

I made a Notion Worker that syncs all of the people you follow on X into a Notion DB. The worker uses the X API to pull in data about everyone you follow, with an optional AI enrichment step to normalize + extract role/company/affiliations/interests/location/etc. I've made a few helpful views for myself: • people I know in {x city} (I actually used this earlier today to plan a summer trip) • people I follow who I've muted (good to review or unfollow) • people who haven't posted in >1 year (cleanup) • people grouped by role and company ("who do I know that works at X company?") Having all this in Notion means it's fully malleable (easy to edit, add new properties/notes, etc) and it's legible to all my AI agents (Notion AI, Claude via MCP, etc). I follow more people than average, and it was about $30 to do the full sync + AI enrichment. If you follow <1k people it'll probably cost <$10. Lmk if you try it or run into issues! If this is useful enough, I'll build a hosted version so you don't have to bring your own API keys. Repo + setup instructions → github.com/brianlovin/x-n…

@levelsio @yasser_elsaid_ Is there a team involved? Curious why the “we” if it’s just him. And if there is a team is this still classed as “indie hacker”?

Probably the biggest indie hacker now and still fully bootstrapped is @yasser_elsaid_ Making $10,000,000 in ARR Absolutely insane! Also a super super nice guy if you ever met him in IRL, so humble and fun to hang with, really cool guy (And of course I'm jealous of his ARR in a good way, it's very very inspiring esp since it's a single project)
Yasser@yasser_elsaid_

We just crossed $10M in ARR at @Chatbase! 🎉 🎉 And today, we're launching Chatbase as the full harness for customer-facing AI agents. Similar to how Claude code is a harness for coding agents, Chatbase is the harness for customer experience agents. That means we give the model the context, tools, workflows, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop systems to be the best ambassador for your brand. It's going beyond just solving issues and is giving your customers the best experiences across every channel. This is a milestone I have been thinking about and obsessed with since day 1, and I am super excited to bring my vision for customer facing agents to life with Chatbase. Thank you to every one of our customers and to the amazing Chatbase team for getting us here! Next stop: $100M ARR
