If you see a rifle stock on a gun with a barrel under 16 inches, usually one can assume they went through the sbr process, and thus would also be permitted a vertical foregrip. That's why usually the angled foregrip pairs with a pistol brace, to keep the weapon a "pistol" legally

@siromet Maybe put a LPVO or a ACOG on it. We like our magnification.

@siromet @reluctantm55236 In your case don’t worry about expensive optics if it’s airsoft, real optics are very expensive and are priced that way because they have to hold zero after bumps and recoil from actual rounds.

@siromet Unless you’re going for full custom like mine, your rifle looks good already. I’d say the overwhelming majority of civilian rifles look like yours without too much going on

@siromet @endmonaut I have a very similar handguard, I’m looking to upgrade it to something in carbon fiber though. The lights and lasers and whatnot are heavy and at the front of the gun

@siromet @Nathani98592655 First one is a rifle, second one is a handgun. Our law says rifles cannot have a barrel under 16” or else it is a controller item you need a permit for. If you build a handgun with a shorter barrel you cannot attach a buttstock or a vertical grip on it or else you need a permit.
