NYERI TOWN, NYERI TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2026 The National Government has pledged 1 billion shillings for the construction of modern infrastructure and facilities at the Nyeri Level 5 Hospital. Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has shown me and the other leaders present the proposed site for the hospital expansion. The project is expected to commence within the month. An additional 500 million shillings will be used to improve facilities at the Mwai Kibaki Level 6 Hospital in Othaya, also within Nyeri County.

Joe Sang, PS Liban, and Kiprop of EPRA resigned before being taken to court, and now they must face the full force of the law. Their attempt to create an artificial fuel shortage for personal gain was unethical and a betrayal of public trust. Such conduct has no place in our country’s leadership.

Joe Sang, Kenya Pipeline MD, has now been arrested twice: first in 2018 over the Kisumu oil‑jetty scandal (later acquitted), and again yesterday over suspected fuel supply manipulation and importation of substandard fuel. In 2018 we lost Ksh 2B and now 8B ? This is very wrong! This time things must be different!!

Whoever William Ruto chooses as DP, his goose is cooked. He is just finished. Knowing ODM and Luo politicians, he’ll be forced to pick a Luo or at least someone from ODM or they’ll swallow him alive. But throwing Kithure Kindiki under the bus? He can forget the whole of Mt. Kenya, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, all gone. If he sticks with Kindiki, then all hell breaks loose. You lose Luo support completely and Mountain may also not be guaranteed. And if he makes the fatal mistake of choosing Musalia Mudavadi, he might as well resign and save himself the humiliation.
