Vad war der militärpolitische Berater von Angela Merkel. Die Verweigerung von Waffen für die Ukraine war ehernes Prinzip der deutschen Politik, ebenso ihres Beitritts zur NATO. Man wollte „Russland nicht provozieren.“ Beides hat zur Katastrophe des heutigen Krieges beigetragen.

During talks between U.S. and Iranian delegations in Pakistan, the topic of Ukraine unexpectedly came up. While discussing U.S. guarantees in the event that Iran halts uranium enrichment and abandons the development of nuclear weapons, the Iranian side asked how the United States is fulfilling the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which it pledged to respect and protect Ukraine’s sovereignty. The U.S. delegation left the question unanswered.

We have already reached 10-year agreements with three key countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. We already have requests from 11 countries – the Middle East and the Gulf, plus we’re also gradually turning our attention to the Caucasus.
Within this Drone Deal, there will be at least 10 different agreements covering various categories of Ukrainian weapons exports. Co-production is planned – the construction of our production lines both in Ukraine and in other countries. New technologies that we are developing jointly with various countries, in which they are investing. There is also an agreement on annual funding for a specific amount, along with a fixed number of years.
Second: the European track. Work has already begun with Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Of course, we have good relations with the United Kingdom and France. I am confident that all of this will also be implemented there.

Hinweis, Iran sei nun einen Schritt auf USA zugegangen und USA seien nun am Zug, zeugt von schwacher Analyse. Die Öffnung von Hormus war Teil der Waffenruhe. Anders als USA hatte Iran sie an regionale Waffenruhe geknüpft. Das ist jetzt erfolgt.

Wer sich auf Iran und die militärischen Entwicklungen fokussiert, um die Lage im Krieg zu analysieren, übersieht, dass es inzwischen um die Fähigkeit geht, die Weltwirtschaft unterbrechen oder absichern zu können. Entwicklungen im Krieg sind nur in diesem Kontext zu verstehen.
