Polanski’s critique of NATO is based on Trump *not being pro war enough* on Ukraine and Russia. He is absolutely parroting the militarist line. We should want better than a populist demagogue - we need an independent mass workers party and that will never be the Greens

Sad to hear Zack defending NATO. Green support for NATO is a huge problem and those who try and ignore or underrate it are foolish. This means effectively that the British Greens are on a similar trajectory as their peers in the EU and will support NATO offensives in the future. And NATO as constituted cannot exist without the US. It's role in Libya, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, etc, speaks volumes.

@SegaSaturnus The pro-democracy faction is in a difficult position where it wants to expose the backroom dealings without burning all bridges with those doing the dealings, hence the hearsay. At some point though I think it will be necessary for them to bring it all out in the open

For whatever my lonely opinion is worth, while his tweet was obviously hearsay, I believe Max Shanly to be a sincere actor and it's wholly believable based on Sultana and Corbyn's interviews, statements etc that there is a push within YP towards MPs and the bureaucracy.
