@MichaelLoda I have loved this universe since I was a kid and I’m still obsessed with it. Frankly, I’m tired of hearing about a bunch of trailers that came out when I was a literal toddler.

They’re talking about “approachability” and “bringing it to as many people as possible” because it’s constantly losing players. They’re focusing on the symptoms instead of the root problem. This “IP” has been run into the ground. Warcraft’s identity (its strongest point) was eroded. Go watch the WoD trailer, the Wrath trailer, TBC, Vanilla, Warcraft 3… Even something like Skyrim. What do you feel? That’s what inspired millions to play these games. Look at all the Warcraft fanart over the last 20 years. Those Disneyfied animation haven’t inspired anyone. It doesn’t resonate with anybody. Why are they so ignorant and can’t realise this? This is a fantasy game, and you’re not selling us the fantasy that we want to engage in and pay for. And yes, it's not always been perfect, but it's got much worse. And now you get this interview, and everyone dislikes it. They apparently dislike the very thing they work on. Even Chris Metzen himself who was this big promise for this new “saga”, which is absolutely failing. Where even is he now? I started playing in 2014 – too late to experience its greatness, just in time to witness the downfall. At this point it’s probably beyond fixing, too late. #worldofwarcraft #warcraft

@MikeSchaffnit I feel like League is a unique case. The show is an amazing dramatic spectacle, when the game is a digital sport. A Warcraft show can promise a world you’d want to live in- and a game that can deliver on that promise.

Now sure… one aspect would obviously be the hope for driving subscriptions to WoW or whatever game is involved, but as great as Arcane was… it failed to convert viewers into players.

Because I have a little bit more WoW twitter engagement atm (hello to my new followers by the way).. I want to ask a serious business question. Let me preface and say that I get no say in what I’m about to discuss, but I have seen opinions that have made me curious.

Very appreciative of all addon devs grinding this prepatch and this isn't a criticism of them but it's so frustrating that there are like 4 different cdm addons that all have features I want but none of them have all the features I want

So there’s a new addon called HousingMusic that lets you pick music from the massive list of in-game tracks and build playlists for inside your player house. @soulsobreezy I was in favor of export/import strings for the sake of getting it into Blender for creative stuff, but with what WoWhead already cooked up it seems like it’s already possible lol

It's cause I have a somewhat unique POV in this space, but I no longer think a full import/export option is good for housing, exception being to backup our own builds. Seeing a cookie-cutter home/room/complex decor feels antiethical to Housing's goal of personal expression.

@wyrvwr They literally haven't bothered to since Alpha when Velf DHs were implemented. They have a month left. The devs who woild be tasked with that thing are likely too busy on Harranir and the Amani Troll options.

For real. Not only are there no new Void potions to reflect the Void Spec that doesn't use any Fel or Demonic magic, not only do Velfs just have copy/pasted Belf assets that don't fit Velfs at all and need to be purple instead of red, but THE TATTOOS ARE LITERALLY BROKEN.

re: housing stress test, we just pushed some fixes for guild neighborhoods. Once you make a guild, the GM should be able to make a guild neighborhood with only 2 characters online.
