@sjbaseball @kminnicksports @NJSIAA @McGurkSports @Mark__Melhorn Agree and disagree. The state wants events to be closer to Central so teams don’t have an advantage with light travel. Having it in Alcyon would almost certainly be an advantage for South teams. Also, parking? Parking was a nightmare for the Diamond final there. Nonstarter imo.

I’d like to know if coaches/umpires were informed of the ordinance. 7pm start for a 10:30 cutoff only allows for a 3hr 30min window… the longest game we had this year was 3:08 and that was a 7 inning game. Extra innings between two good teams and it gets longer.

Even with all of these games, there are so many teams we couldn't get out to this year that I'm disappointed we never got to. Pennsville, Overbrook, Doane, NBC, Burlington Twp, so many more. 2026 is not too far away, now...
