I was diagnosed with cancer in April. Unfortunately, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy couldn’t tame this, and my medical team is now focused on keeping me comfortable while I spend the last chapter of my life with my partner, family, and friends. 1/4

Not a science tweet but…Why is there not more conversation around the link between no national paid maternity leave and the formula shortage? There are many legitimate reasons to use formula, but I bet many moms would prefer to BF if they had the time/better working conditions

Things got a bit muddy on the ranch this week. It was incredible to see the creeks running with a slurry of goo. I'm worried about our steelhead spawning habitat--so much mud. Hopefully this will all flush out in another month or so...? @fishteph? @sjkelson?

We had 3.4" of rain in this last storm and ended up with a bit of a debris flow off the hills that burned in the 2020 River Fire. It will be interesting to see how long it will take to flush all of the accumulated mud out of the creeks. #CAwx #RiverFire
