Does Stephon Castle deserve the same criticism as Hartenstein? One caller gives Jim Traber his take.

@CC82Harris @sportsanimal Show me Castle holding SGA's arm and preventing him from moving away from him.
Show me.

@sportsanimal The day Jim retires, we may finally get an consistent honest take. Both Castle and Ihart are hooking and doing everything they can to win. Doing what Jim is doing is for calls and clicks, not an honest discussion about the game. Btw, this is a great physical series.

@Michael_Cerami I'm starting to think the winning streaks were the aberration.

@tomselliott @brianstelter In spite of all the resisting, Trump still won 2 Presidential elections against 2 different candidates. Perhaps he wasn't even that good at being the voice of a failed resistance.
English

CNN's @brianstelter: "[Colbert] became a voice of the Trump resistance, first during Trump's first term, now again in Trump 2.0, politics became an inescapable part of the show.
"But The Late Show was about so much more than politics, & I think the viewers who are mourning the end of the show today, they're going to miss Colbert, the human, you know, he was ministerial in nature, a comforting presence at the end of the night. And yes, he was an outspoken Trump critic, but he was so much more than that."
English

@RealTomPetrini @EricSal_7 Nah. A lot of this is true but he has to make better decisions. I think we can accept turnovers he has when he’s penetrating or even as the primary ball handler, but too many of the ones he’s having in this series are because he’s making bad decisions. That can be fixed.

@obvious_shirts Your best players have to be your best players. Too many ABs lately for Bregman, Happ, and Suzuki with RISP and they can’t have a productive appearance
English

I would love to see the Cubs string together hits like this. Brewers do all the small things so well…it makes me sick. Situational hitting. Hitting with RISP. #Cubs

@NotAnOKCFan Its the fan base and the unwatchable style of play.
You win one championship (thanks to Haliburton's injury) and the entire base carries themselves like Yankee and Laker fans.
English

@SamQuinnCBS Anyone who has ever won any kind of 'lottery' did so because of luck.
What you do with the 'luck' is what makes the difference. ATL, WAS, and HOU were 'luckier' than the Spurs were in 2024 and decided Castle wasn't for them.
English

Spurs fans are gonna have to make peace with the role the lottery played in all of this if they want to enjoy their next decade of internet existence.
They got lucky. Really, historically, annoyingly lucky. They were also VERY smart. But they got lucky. It happened. Own that.
