I want the Pirates to make the playoffs. Do you believe the organization will do what’s needed? That’s not negativity. That’s lacking trust& bearing witness. The players& manager gotta do it despite the organization. They might.

This isn't an excuse, nor is this being framed as a 'good' outing, to be clear. Because, yes, 9 came to the plate and four runs crossed the plate. But, I'm not fainting and screaming fire in a movie theater. Objectivity. It's good for the soul. Promise.

Obviously Skenes wasn’t good. But a swinging bunt single, a bloop single, two fly balls that the center fielder couldn’t catch and a guy sticking his arm into a pitch isn’t cause for concern. What is cause for concern is Cruz. Maybe my most disliked Pirate ever. Drives me insane.

Karlsson was magnificent again. Wotherspoon was fine. The rest of the blue line really struggled tonight, notably Letang. He just didn't process information with the puck on his blade. Was consistently a step slow and made the wrong reads all night. His play is a huge concern.
