“Will no longer report to the AD” is the biggest win for Tommy Lloyd. DRF is such a bad AD her most important piece in her athletic department doesn’t even want to report to her.

Sources: UNC offered Tommy Lloyd a top-two contract in CBB. Lloyd took less to stay, but will still bump up to $7.2 million starting next season. Staff pool also will get a huge bump + incentives brought back to their contract structures. He'll also no longer report to the AD.

Utah State is expected to hire UNI head coach Ben Jacobson, source told @thefieldof68. Jacobson, 55, has been the head coach at UNI since 2006 and has won 397 games in his time with the Panthers. Jacobson went to back-to-back NCAA tournaments in 2015 and 2016, and took UNI to the tourney this season.

This is a bad take for sure.
1. His year here he was forced into the “clutch” role. As a HS senior!! Remeber he reclassified.
2. He would set up the shooter for the game winner. If it wasn’t there he may get it back and have less pressure to make a game winning shot instead of handling the ball and having to take the shot when the entire D knew he had to.
3. He got a bag maybe he wants to be back here for his pops.
4. Could lead to his brother coming to UNLV also. PG after PG would be a first in a looong time.

TJ Otzelberger is one hell of a coach. Too bad a city with the Bellagio, Wynn-Encore, Fountainbleau, Shadow Creek, Southern Highlands, Red Rock, Sphere and Allegiant Stadium couldn’t keep him and build something special.

CSU had a NET of 88, so Q2. Very close to Wyoming (99) Hawaii (101) and UNLV (111). Also Q2.
Zags and SDS will remain good. USU will drop off once Calhoun leaves for UC.
Both conf. will be a lot closer than you think
