اللہ رحم فرمائے۔ ن لیگی حکومت کے پلو میں نحوست کی ایسی گٹھی بندی ہے کہ جب بھی یہ آتے ہیں کسانوں پر بھی قیامت بن کر گرتے ہیں اور ملک میں بھی کچھ نہ کچھ ہوتا رہتا ہے۔ اور ہاں تصویر ان حضرات کی اس لئے لگائی کہ یہ منحوس اعلان دونوں نے مل کر کیا ہے، وزیرخزانہ اور وزیر پٹرولیم۔ ان کی "حسین "تصویر پر آپ دل وجاں سے "پھول"نچھاور کر سکتےہیں، اپنی "دعائیں" بھی ناپ تول کر ان تقدس مآب چہروں کو دیکھتے ہوئے ان کی جانب روانہ کی جا سکتی ہیں۔

پاکستان کی تاریخ کی سب سے ظالمانہ، بے حس، ڈھٹائی کی حد تک عوام دشمن حکومتوں میں سے موجودہ حکومت سرفہرست ہے۔ شہباز شریف نے پاکستان کے سب سے بے لحاظ، سفاک اور عوام دشمن وزیراعظم ہونے کا اعزاز بڑی لیڈ سے جیت لیا ہے۔ اس کی واحد وجہ یہ ہے کہ الیکشن یہ جیت کر آئے نہیں اور نہ انہیں ووٹروں کو منہ دکھانا ہے۔ اس لئے کھل کھیلتے ہیں۔ اب پٹرول پرائس میں پچپن روپے کا اضافہ نہایت ظالمانہ ہے۔ عالمی مارکیٹ میں پٹرول مہنگا ہوا ہے، مگر ابھی تو ایک مہینے کا سٹاک پڑا ہے۔ نئی خریداری ہوئی ہی نہیں تو ابھی سے اتنا مہنگا کرنے کا کیا جواز؟ جنگ کا کچھ پتہ نہیں۔ اگلے چند دنوں میں ممکن ہے صورتحال مختلف ہوجائے۔ شہباز شریف کو اس کی کوئی پروا نہیں۔ اس نے عوام پر پٹرول بم گرا ہی دیا۔ اوپر سے ان صاحب کی ایکٹنگ دیکھو۔ ہمیشہ فیک تاثر، ہمیشہ عوام کی ہمدردی اور محبت کی مصنوعی ، تھرڈ کلاس ایکٹنگ۔ نقلی حبیب جالب بن کر شعر پڑھنا اور جنونیوں کی طرح مکے مار کر مائیک گرا دینا۔ افسوس کہ ہمیں ایسی تیسرے درجے کی نالائق قیادت ہمیشہ ملی۔ یہ ہے مسلم لیگ ن کی حکومت، ہمیشہ سے عوام دشمن، بے رحم اور بے دید، بے لحاظ۔ پھر لوگ ہم سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ ہم پنجاب حکومت کے مخالف کیوں ہیں، آل شریف کے مخالف کیوں ؟ انہی حرکتوں کی بنا پر۔ پٹرول پرائسز میں یک لخت اور بلاجواز اتنا اضافہ نامنظور۔ نہایت افسوسناک ۔ سخت قابل مذمت ۔

Poverty increased, unemployment went up, purchasing power eroded, salaried class brutally punished through higher taxes, increase in number of kids with stunting problem, more kids out of school, investment to GDP further declined, exports declined, Pakistan’s position in Human Development Index slipped from 164 to 168. Ranking on gender equality became worst at 148, our governance ranking slipped to 109 out of 120 and I can go on. @SaleemFarrukh

I spent the day of democracy in the parliament. In our Parliamentary Party Meeting Chairman @BBhuttoZardari resolved to fulfil the vision of #ShaheedBB on a #CharterofDemocracy and to ensure that constitutional amendments lead to strengthening of democracy as promised in the charter. The constitutional package and its delay are for me a sign that democracy is there and working as there was a willingness of all parties including the opposition to consult, negotiate and try to build consensus. Democracy works not just in the substance of the law but also in the process of lawmaking. And processes take time but are always worth the wait #InternationalDemocracyDay2024
