Example of how Sitare Imtiaz is being awarded. The only achievementof this officer is rejection of nomination papers of @MoonisElahi for PP 158, Lahore. The rejection was later declared illegal by Lahore High Court and Moonis Elahi was allowed to contest elections.

The Supreme Court upheld the Sindh High Court decision that the board of TRG has committed a $150 million fraud against TRG’s 13,000 public shareholders. A business that once managed over $2 billion in assets now has only $100 million, with the rest destroyed by the present management, while they have paid themselves and their lawyers tens of millions of dollars. We look forward to removing them in the upcoming board elections now endorsed by the Supreme Court, and rebuilding the business, hopefully to even greater success than before.

There’s no difference between attention seeking TikTokers and bureaucrats who exploit authority just to chase views fame. The AC Burewala who harassed a female Doc over not ordering a CT scan achieved exactly what he wanted.. publicity, outrage, and viral attention.

A video circulating online allegedly shows a CSP officer/bureaucrat rudely confronting a female doctor inside a government hospital, in front of patients, while recording her. Addressing an on duty physician as “Bibi” instead of “Doctor Sahiba,” and questioning her in a humiliating manner as if she were in an interrogation room, is deeply disrespectful and completely unacceptable. Doctors, especially female healthcare workers serving patients under difficult conditions, deserve dignity and professional respect, not public humiliation by state officials abusing authority. In any professional and civilized system, such conduct by a government officer would trigger immediate accountability. Sadly, in Pakistan, bureaucratic arrogance too often operates above basic standards of decency and respect. Absolutely shameful.
Dr Danish Malik@doc_danish_

Govt hospital visits are fine, but these clown bureaucrats should learn respect. Carrying cameras and doing PR stunts doesn’t make you understand healthcare. Passing CSS after an MA doesn’t make you superior to doctors who survive years of academics, training, and hospital duty.

This picture is a slap in the face of patient confidentiality, medical ethics, and respect for doctors who spend years studying and training to serve people. Allegedly, a CSS officer (ACP Burewala) entered a hospital (THQ) with cameras and a mic attached to his clothes while patients were actively being treated, and then publicly insulted a female doctor while recording the entire scene. Hospitals are not movie sets or political stages. Patients deserve privacy, and doctors deserve dignity and professional respect. Then people ask why doctors are leaving Pakistan. This kind of humiliation, interference, and public shaming is exactly why. Absolutely shameful.

PMLN rule: 7 times in Punjab, 5 times at the Centre. PPP rule: 7 times in Sindh, 4 times at the Centre. Military dictatorships: 4 times, spanning over 30 years. And the jokers blame @ImranKhanPTI. Those responsible for this ruin are writing the verdict. History will not be so forgiving.

Imran Khan is the most popular political leader in the country based on 2024 elections. He has not been well for several months now but has been denied proper medical treatment. He deserves the right to be treated based on the input of his own medical team. This is his basic right.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi remain illegally imprisoned and are being subjected to systematic psychological and physical torture through unlawful isolation. For the past seven months, Imran Khan has been kept in solitary confinement. He has been denied access to his family, his personal doctors, and even basic human rights including books, which he has not been allowed for the last five months. At this moment, our primary demand is clear: Imran Khan must immediately be shifted to Shifa International Hospital for comprehensive medical examinations and proper treatment for his eye condition. Today, the 12th of May, CM Sohail Afridi, along with the entire KP Assembly, members of the Punjab Assembly, members of the National Assembly, and Senators from PTI, will come to Adiala Jail to stand in solidarity with their leader, Imran Khan. Their presence will highlight the issue both nationally and internationally, the ongoing mistreatment and psychological torture being inflicted upon Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. It is also intended to build pressure on this government (a government brought into power through stolen mandate from Imran Khan) to immediately transfer him to Shifa International Hospital without any further delay. Our family once again strongly urges Imran Khan’s supporters NOT to come to Adiala Jail today. Police will not arrest elected representatives and Senators, but the supporters remain at serious risk of arrest and mistreatment.

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

CBS is really running a story based on ONE anonymous official and "Afghan sources"? — Absolute joke You can’t seriously hide a fleet of Iranian jets at Nur Khan—it’s in the dead center of Rawalpindi where even JD Vance romanticised a peace plan This isn't journalism; it’s a smear campaign reeks of Indian propaganda

As Pakistan positioned itself as a diplomatic conduit between Tehran and Washington, it quietly allowed Iranian military aircraft to park on its airfields, potentially shielding them from American airstrikes, according to U.S. officials with knowledge of the matter. cbsn.ws/4320ADi
