Fantastic to see my old club Coventry City promoted to the Premier League. I joined them 59 years ago in the days of Jimmy Hill, Noel Cantwell, George Curtis, Ernie Hunt, Maurice Setters, and so many great characters now long past. Coventry have been through some terrible times in recent decades and what a delight to see that if you never give up you get there in the end.
All the best to all those Coventry fans that stuck by them no matter what. Enjoy your night - you deserve it.

The man here is Jacobus “Bees” Roux, a former rugby player. He was charged with murder after beating Metro police officer Sergeant Ntshimane Johannes Mogale to death in August 2011.
He was sentenced to five years imprisonment, or he had to pay R750 000 to the wife of the deceased.

Overnight, I joined a virtual Leaders' Summit on the Strait of Hormuz co-hosted by President Macron and Prime Minister Starmer.
Australia has consistently called for an end to this conflict.
The longer the war goes on, the more significant the impact on the global economy will be, and the greater the human cost.

It is absolute madness in Iran.
The ceasefire has made the surviving regime rabid and intoxicated.
These parades reportedly happen all the time, including nighttime where they will scream islamic chants and intimidate normal Iranians trying to sleep. If anyone complains, or even speaks to other people, the regime will arbitrarily arrest them on invented charges.
Do not abandon Iran, President Trump. Do not forget your initial promise was to help the people, not impose a nuclear deal.
