@Smirkley This is an appalling decision. It’s how they behaved towards the girls that is the importance matter not how the we’re in court. The judge should be protecting the victims not praising the sexual predators. Failing to give them jail time is abhorrent.

If a gang can laugh while raping two schoolgirls and filming it, but behave like angels the moment their own freedom is on the line, I as a judge would treat that courtroom composure as aggravating. They are capable of restraint and control when it suits them but not others.

@henrywinter Most of the players left out have had bang average season. Crying to the press about being left out before the actual squad was announced shows poor character & lack of maturity imho.

Inevitable and understandable debate about the omissions (especially Maguire, Palmer, Alexander-Arnold) but this is still a good squad. England World Cup 26... Goalkeepers: Pickford, D Henderson, Trafford. Defenders: Burn, Guehi, James, Konsa, Livramento, O’Reilly, Quansah, Spence, Stones. Midfielders: Anderson, Bellingham, Eze, J Henderson, Mainoo, Rice, Rogers. Attackers: Gordon, Kane, Madueke, Rashford, Saka, Toney, Watkins.

@anon_opin It’s also made the officiating much worse. They depend on it to fix their errors but they even get those wrong and it takes far too long.

You can argue for and against VAR but one thing that is indisputable is that it's made the experience of watching football worse.

@Slotoholic Interested to know who he thinks he’s improved this season! Also with the system he plays they’re not playing with confidence.

We had a manager who always said he believed in training and improving players, giving all his players confidence and a boost to fight for their place. Now we have a certain person who always throws them under the bus and says "you can't believe what transfer window can do"

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
