Season Review. I did terribly. I didn’t own Gabriel when he was scoring and owned VVD when he wasn’t scoring. I started the season with captain injuries and blanks for Palmer, Saka, Cunha and Gakpo. Every time I went against Haaland and Bruno for captaincy my captain blanked.

@fotoole13 After the Cody era many hurling people probably hoped for times like this. Not out of dislike of them but just because the championship seemed to be getting boring. They’ll be back.

Kilkenny's earliest championship exit since 1996. 16 All-Ireland senior hurling titles since 2000 between Kilkenny and Tipperary, neither will feature beyond provincial series this summer.

Can't believe a team of the stature of Roscommon haven't won at Croke Park since 1980. That's an absolutely mental stat!

@JamieBrysonLLB Why do you dislike him exactly? Is it merely because he played for Celtic? Do you dislike everybody associated with Celtic?

In 24 hours, Mikel Arteta took Arsenal to first league in 22 years, Andoni Iraola took Bournemouth to Europe for first time ever and Unai Emery took Aston Villa to first European trophy in 44 years, first of any kind in 33 years. All born within 30 miles of each other. Gipuzkoa.

@RebelDevil71 @NAYL0R_ And Shearer himself got 23 goals for Southampton in the old First Division. Almost as if he’s discounting them by going along with the Premier League record.

@EwanMacKenna Point number 3 is very true. Followings fluctuate in tandem with a county’s fortunes. The crowds won’t travel en masse expecting to see a team get trounced.

Dublin getting a lot of flak for small turnout at Leinster final... Why? I'm going to defend them. 1. Always been small hardcore. 2. Never been a wildly big GAA county. 3. Everywhere is fair weather to point. Kildare and Meath used to fill Croke Park, now couldn't fill a phone box. 4. Dublin won everything and now this is night beside that day. 5. Cost of tickets. 6. Cost of living. 7. It's on TV. 8. Loads of other options for a Sunday.

@LasairDhearg All this is short of saying is that people will be removed as well. Is that the plan? Such rhetoric is unhelpful and undermines Republican objectives.

There will be no 'shared Ireland' - every facet of the British presence in Ireland will be wiped from the map - their street names, their statues, their monuments to imperialism, their institutions and their political & economic systems will all be pushed into the Irish sea. 2/3

Dublin street renamed 'Bobby Sands Street' by Lasair Dhearg activists in the city - Irish streets should not be named after the likes of William Drury, a colonialist and British imperialist. 1/3
