@TheMiddleStump State schools are run all wrong. Really for 95% of the children they will never need 99% of what they taught during their lives. The school system needs modernising being more focussed on life skills. This way a lot more of those talented at sport would come from state schools.

Cricket seems awash with elitism at present. Test cricket revolves around the big 3, county cricket going the way of Hundred hosting counties, the media full of kids from public schools and our national side behind a pay wall so kids from certain backgrounds don't get to watch.
