Well, fellow bookies, upon many of your recommendations, I just finished Larson’s The Devil in the White City. It was mind spinning &, like The Splendid and the Vile, will now send me into a frenzy of further inquiries. This one was so creepy! Oh man, Holmes was the devil indeed.

@SWNID My 72 yr old mother is alone in the hospital (non-covid related). She spent 2 days in an ER room because THE HOSPITAL WAS FULL (she lives in NE Ohio). But sure, it’s all overblown.
