Was there some kind of dramatic discovery of new benefits of hydration in the last ten years? We never carried water bottles around all the time until recently and nobody I know of shriveled up and died of dehydration in all those years.

@KitchenRecipes_ An even bigger life hack. Rinsing rice is stupidly unnecessary in this day and age. There's no reason to do it and rice turns out much better when you DON'T rinse it. The whole idea of it is old and no longer needed.
