@tylerjschoon How many times has it happened? Think you can create a narrative that it can’t be done based on a handful of late round draft picks who just ended up having to fill a spot instead of a team drafting a guy purposefully to go from C to G. Also, we now have backup center covered🤷🏼‍♂️

The Chargers absolutely needed more bites at the apple in this draft. Turning 5 picks into 9 is generally good business in that regard.

Aside from my own dislike of the film... the Chargers needed a legitimate starting LG right now and I am not confident they got that player. Slaughter as a backup center option in round 4 would have been fine but this is definitely a head scratcher for me. Pregnon and Dunker were right there man!

Anyway, in general, I never would have guessed they'd go the pure center to try out at guard route. But, I am open to the new possibility. I question the process, I really do. But let's see what you've got. Go be great at guard, Jake Slaughter!

@StevenIHaglund I have a dark horse theory that Rashawn won't be mobile enough to play tackle anymore, so he slides to guard and the chargers draft a tackle. Not at all ideal, but I'm a jaded and damaged chargers fan (gulp).
