@rossbrownlee1 Completely agree. Though we should take into account the apparent (lack of) professionalism and quality of those charged with the appointment....
What a major, major mess we are making of appointing a manager.
Martin was sacked just over a week ago, but SURELY the process started prior to that, given everyone could see what was coming. All that time and we’ve ended up in our current state.
It’s not going well…..
No ill will meant to Steven Gerrard at all but I think Rangers need to shut the door on him now, not leave it open for the future. Everyone deserves a second chance and this was his after the manner in which he left. His call not to come, fine. But for me RFC now need to move on.
"The timing isn't right" is a cheap cover-up. But for what? Steve's Mrs doesn't fancy it again? Stevie doesn't fancy Thelwell et al? How much of a hurdle is any tax issue? The support is due some absolute honesty. We await the real truth.
@macnahgalla@NicolaSturgeon Thank you. Since then I’ve read them.
If that’s the quality of writing, to say nothing of the content, Frankly will be a very hard long read
What a fucking absolutely DISGUSTING lump of shite @NicolaSturgeon actually is….
Ms Sturgeon added: “Eventually, four days later, during the evening of January 4, 2011, the pregnancy 'passed'.
“I had the presence of mind to call Peter into the bathroom and, together, we flushed our 'baby' down the toilet.
@Battlefeverpod I agree it SHOULD be to manage the team but such was the inherited mess in the whole football department that he agreed to take on the job and only very recently has he been able to bring in a real assistant. If he is sacked it will set our already neglibile finances back further
@skybluesandy55 Clements job is to manage the team not fix the football structure. He literally spent all summer telling us that.
13 behind
2 cups gone
Season done by Feb. Today's result should see the end of Clement.
@Battlefeverpod And that's just one example of why the whole football structure has been wrong and why Clement was contracted to fix it. It can't be done without bumps along the road. This is a really sore one. Yes, he has faults, but he inherited a shambles.
Anybody who voted Labour shame on you. Absolutely shameful. A disgrace of a party. They have no moral compass or morality. They need removed for the sake of decency
All our problems are not down to the manager. It is much deeper than that. He might not be goid enough. He might be. But he is definitely managing with one arm tied behind his back. We lack quality. We lack money to get quality. There is no quick fix
It's the time of year for nostalgia, so appropriate that a few days after running into #AndyRoxburgh for the first time in ages, I caught up with a cracking little BBC programme about the U-18 Scotland team he managed to European Championship success in 1982. Recommended ! 👏👏
