it feels like seeing your first love and your current lover in one frame 😭 i still can't get over youngk and yonghwa's cover of "i ain't worried" by onerepublic… their voices blend so perfectly.

As fans, all we can do is wholeheartedly offer our support and love, for our idols, our fellow fans and the communities we build together. I continue to feel so much love for and from 1weve and i think that’s the most important and meaningful of all to focus on ❤️💜💚💛💙

i guess what i’m trying to say from being part of kpop fandoms over almost 2 decades & my positionality as a Communications practitioner and current post-grad scholar, is that we can never truly know the full context of anything as the audience (fans)

i’m aware that i’m not a language expert and also very new to 1we fandom so this 🧵is just my own personal take. ultimately all i want is to wholeheartedly support 1we who have brought so much joy, light and wonderful friends into my life 🥺

sungjin and wonpil’s solo albums share a common thread of seasonal & time-based metaphors. like a lot!! sj writes more like he’s journaling his own thoughts, while wp writes w deep introspection that’s more outward-facing as he often considers the impact on the other person~

i really appreciate that you are worried about the boys asking for more schedules but pls know that they have been really busy with album preparation the past month. KH simply said he wanted more schedules because onewe did not have a lot of schedules for the month of march.

Here are my thoughts about Onewe's schedule and other things going around recently: 1. They are consistently booked and busy, as seen in the quoted post - and these are just performances! Broadcasts, radio shows, YouTube content, fan signs and video calls, etc. is NOT included here! 2. Kanghyun's live saying they asked for more schedules has been misconstrued. He was responding to a question about why there were no performances in March and his response was that the other months will be filled! They have stated numerous times they are currently actively working on a new album (they have all mentioned recording recently). 3. While RBW may not be a great company, they seemingly give Onewe tons of creative control, not just over their music but for other things as well. Four examples that immediately come to mind: -Yonghoon wanted to wear the suits in The Starry Night and the company agreed -Members designed the lightstick. The CEO questioned the black handle but went with it because that's what the members wanted -One Way Taxi was the members' idea -Members had a say in the location for filming the Maze mv The members asking for more schedules does not mean they are languishing around the RBW basement twiddling their thumbs waiting for a schedule to appear.

I think we need to realise the fact that: 1we has been the bussiest they've been in their 10 years of career. Ever since leaderline has been discharged they've been performing here and there. Contrasting to the lack of activities pre-enlistment. It's only in march alone they–
