I have no domain expertise to offer an explanation, Max. A loss is a loss. I saw some images floating around about the changes in the electoral boundaries that made his riding different… I have no idea if those changes made a difference. The party and Pierre are gonna have to figure out whether he is the guy to take them to the next level. My two cents: the party often throws the baby out with the bathwater and they should give him another kick at the can.

@Tablesalt13 No, because US always tax the citizens on their global income. For Canada - you can leave the country, declare non resident tax status and do not pay any taxes to Canada. And Canada is a nicer place to live.
