@KimberlyHuggin6 @volcaholic1 Like duh, mountains can have flash floods. I was up at their place this summer hiking and got caught in one. People have flood insurance up there. But this was not a typical mountain flooding. Not even close.

@Skyphly @volcaholic1 I hope your parents are ok. As a long time visitor of Beech the idea that it is in a flood plain is so crazy. People don't think before they type. Hoping for whatever kind season the locals need this winter. I wish the ski resorts well, but I don't want locals to struggle more.

I had many comments saying "why didn't people go to higher ground" in other videos where the surroundings aren't apparent. This is why. Absolutely no chance!
