@SelecaoTalk Well as a footballer he's already at least T15ish by 2013 in my mind, and you could see how good he was when Messi was out and when he played for Brazil. But honestly once you watch PSG Neymar, it feels like a crime seeing the type of player he was at Barcelona.

People who hype Neymar at Barcelona are unreasonably annoying to me. He was so much better for PSG and Brazil than he ever was for Barca where he was forced into a constrained role in a Messi-led JDP team. It’s the least enjoyable period of his prime for me as a Neymar fan.

@Gametheorist_ Creative in terms of a better passer, but in terms of link up play, picking up more positions, holding the ball up, dribbling, and being inventive, Benzema is comfortably better. You can't put that down to just being more fluid and mobile. There's a lot more to it.

Even if we get top 5, Slot still can't develop players. So how is he going to raise the ceiling? He gave up on Elliott, Quansah, Morton, Doak, Sepp, Clark. Didn't know how to platform Nunez. Doesn't know how to platform Wirtz. Why would we continue to trust him with the project?

@redraaj77 @Milnerology Klopp did want a DM but no one was on the market other than Doucoure for 70m. Gakpo was given a new contract by slot/hughes. He played Endo and was first until April. Grav also helped win us the league last year. Ridiculous to shift blame on the current mess on Klopp.

This, however if he was played in a more advanced role it would be a far greater threat, at least than it is now. That said his basic passing is criminally lacking too, so he’s always going to be capped at a certain level.

Egypt was strategically critical; if the Crusaders had taken it, this would have opened the way for them to attack ash-Sham and the Hijaz. Salahuddin would oppose any Rafidi state and prioritise dealing with it before others. Anyone with even a cursory reading of his life would recognise that this point is not really debatable.
