@MoonshotEntmt @9ineistired Soldier Boy was weakened & disoriented after he inadvertently set off the radioactive blast from his chest in Herogasm.
The entire purpose of that plot was to nerf him before the fight.
At full power, he'd have eventually subdued Homelander (if Homelander doesn't fly away).

So Ryan's lasers were strong enough to completely roast Stormfront, one of the toughest supes but when he fought Homelander they barely scratched him It doesn't add up, and we can't blame it on the intensity of the laser because he was definitely fighting to kill homelander

@OmoAlade007 He respects him and has constantly wanted a parental figure to be proud of him in the past. Soldier Boy is his actual father, who isn't afraid of him and is still comparable to him no matter who you think is stronger between the two.
