Anyone have a travel app they recommend?
One for tracking what city / state / country you’ve been to, and things you want to do in that place, kinda like a bucket list more so than a strict itinerary

I’ll be in London for @SwiftServerConf on Friday and will stay until Monday. If you are around for the conference or live in the area, let me know! I’d love to say hi 👋

#traceview + #swift distributed actors + tracing = automatically get traces, component and sequence diagrams; and the usual tracing goodies too of course, like co-related logs and span information. Personally very happy about the sequence diagram. Very promising, good luck! 👏

Would this be useful? I have my own @opentelemetry server that can run during Integration tests. and the tests can then link to diagrams produced by the tracing server. It can produce both sequence diagrams and component diagrams. Automatic documentation of all your tests 🎉

@twannl I used kicktip.com in the past, worked pretty well and it supports the World Cup. I’d also be up to join a prediction league ⚽️🏆

What is the best tool/website to do World Cup predictions with friends these days? Also: how about a SwiftLee World Cup prediction league? 😎

Check out the super exciting proposal by @slashmodev and @ktosopl to bridge the gap between swift-distributed-tracing and swift-log: github.com/apple/swift-lo…. Probably the last milestone to get right before the distributed tracing 1.0 release 🤩

This was fun to work on 📖🎉 I’m looking forward to reviews and comments on it and even more to finally tagging a 1.0 of Distributed Tracing 🏷️

Hello everyone, we're proposing metadata providers to #swift-log: github.com/apple/swift-lo… This would enable transparent distributed-tracing integration into swift-log. As we polish up for the 1.0 of distrtibuted tracing, please review this important integration!

@_ant_one @twannl Do you know by chance if we can replace the now playing activity with our own in apps with media playback?

I just booked my ticket for this year’s Server-Side Swift conference 🥳 Can’t wait to meet lots of people I interacted with on Twitter/GitHub over the past couple of years for the first time 🤩 serversideswift.info

@jtaby Have you tried prefixing your commands with “arch -arm64”? That’s what we’re doing to make sure they run natively on the M1.

@slashmodev Yes, and I updated the action-runner to the latest M1-supported version...

Anyone use GitHub actions for CI? Our actions run on the CI machine when run manually, but fail when running the same commands through the self hosted runner system
